The Workability Team

Mark Coleman, OTR/L

Mark Coleman, OTR/L

Mark grew up in the North Island of New Zealand. He moved to the US in 1989 and became a citizen in 2024. Mark has worked in healthcare since 1991, initially as a massage therapist, then as an occupational therapist from 2000. Mark specializes in the treatment and prevention of work injuries. He brings a pragmatic approach to his work “Work injuries are often very challenging events for the person. In addition to dealing with pain and navigating the medical and work comp systems, work injuries often produce a great deal of stress for them and their family. In our clinic we spend a lot of time explaining the injury, keeping communication open between everyone involved in that person’s care and getting them functioning again in a gradual, structured and safe manner.”

Shannon Karpinski, PT

Shannon Karpinski, PT

As a movement expert with over 20 years of experience, Shannon works from our Burlington office to help injured workers manage their pain and develop the strength and flexibility they need to get back to their job. Her compassion, knowledge, and her attention to detail helps her understand the unique needs of each worker. She takes pride in customizing the exercise prescription to suit job specifics, so she can take the guess work out of your injury recovery plan.
